The Smart Winder GLI Series are Graded Layer Winding Machines for HV Coils of distribution transformers. They enable automatic winding of HV coils with interlayer insulation feeding conductors along with insulation and edge strips without manual intervention. Insulation layers are built in a graded profile proportional to voltage differential, significantly reducing insulation material usage and overall coil dimensions by 57%.
